The Timbers

Opened in 1978, The Timbers Restaurant & Fish Market has established itself as Sanibel Island's Seafood Specialist.

Having moved from its original location in 1991, The Timbers Center at 703 Tarpon Bay Road (across from the US Post Office) is now the home to all of the concepts that have made The Timbers so popular.The Timbers Restaurant is the award winning dinner-house that anchors the center. The Sanibel Grill is Sanibel's only true Sports Bar serving lunch seasonally and dinner nightly until 11pm. The Retail Fish Market is where the islanders buy their fish, steaks and seafood. The Timbers"400" Oyster Bar is now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights offering East and West coast oysters, clams by the piece, sushi and sashimi  along with cooked shrimp and smoked fish  Chowder, Crab Bisque and Gumbo are available by the cup alomg with draft beer, fine wines and a full bar!

Chef Teh now offers his spectacular sashimi and sushi platters Thursday & Friday nights!

Sliced from our own fresh tuna and salmon, Chef Teh may have other fresh local fish (cobia, pompano) as well.

Thursday and now Friday are Sushi and Sashimi nights. The Oyster Bar is now The Sushi Bar! Come on down!

To The Timbers:
Cross the Sanibel Causeway. At the four-way stop (Periwinkle Way), turn right go to end of Periwinkle (3 miles), turn right at stop sign (T arpon Bay Rd.). Restaurant is 100 yards on the right.
